"BATTLE OF BROOKLYN" PROVIDED SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE INCLUDING FOUR TITLE BOUTS

The fans crowded into world famous Gleason's Gym on April 21, 2007, not to see what Gleason's Gym is famous for, but to see the latest installment of USKBA ACTION SPORTS Promoter Black Mark Productions "BATTLE OF BROOKLYN" in association with the American Sambo Association. Gleason's Gym has become the home of the "BATTLE OF BROOKLYN" events. This time, the fans were treated to an assortment of action sports that included; Amateur Thaiboxing, Amateur San Da, Freestyle Sambo, Submission Grappling and an exhibition of Sogo Karate. This "BATTLE OF BROOKLYN" featured four championship title bouts and an action filled undercard that also included a terrific Juniors bout and a toe-to-toe Female Thaiboxing bout. There was definitely something for everyone at this event.

At this year's team competition there was no shortage of action. Teams Canada and USA fought their hearts out! Every bout was action packed and kept viewers on the edge of their seats.

USKBA Amateur Thaiboxing Light Heavyweight Eastcoast Championship Title (5 two-minute rounds)

This event was sanctioned by USKBA ACTION SPORTS in full compliance with New York State Athletic Commission rules and regulations. The USKBA Representative was Stephen Strotmeyer. The Referees were Donnie Carolei, Stephen Koepfer. The Judges were Han Hun, Donnie Carolei, Jerry Mendez. The equipment runner was Josh Alti. The Paramedic was Vincent Chapple.
